PROTEST AGAINST KEDAH PAS LED GOVERNMENT DECISION
IMPOSING RESTRICTION ON CHINESE NEW YEAR
UBLIC PERFOMANCES AND BAN ON FEMALE PERFORMERS.
For the insult against the Chinese community by the Kedah PAS led government
imposing restrictions on Chinese New Year performances and the ban on female
performers, I call upon an urge the Chinese community to refrain from accepting
the season greetings and goodwill messages and also to reject and refuse to accept
the offering of oranges from PAS political leaders.
The Chinese community should send out a clear message and a warning that it
will not accept any intrusion or imposition of any ruling deem insulting to the
Chinese community and their culture.
Until the ruling is revoked and an open apology tendered by PAS, the Chinese community though out the country should stand in solidarity
with the Chinese community of Kedah.
